About This Grade
YD-302 is a PUR hot melt adhesive cleaner in granule form, used to clean the glue tank on lines that run PUR hot melt adhesive.
For glue tank cleaning
The cleaner is melted in the tank in place of adhesive and run out through the system, carrying residue with it. It has a higher melt viscosity than our roller cleaning grade YD-301, which suits tank work.
Key values
Melt viscosity is 2800±300 mPa·s (160°C) and the softening point is 80±5°C. The recommended working temperature is 140-160°C, with an open time of 1-2 s and a setting time of 2-4 s.
How it is supplied
YD-302 is supplied as blue granules in 25 kg bags. The color makes it easy to tell the cleaner apart from the adhesive during a changeover.
