YD-7716 is a translucent white APAO hot melt adhesive in granule form, formulated for bead application on air filter production lines.
On many air filter lines, adhesive is laid down as continuous beads that hold pleated media in shape and fix the filter pack. YD-7716 is formulated for this bead application.
A melt viscosity of 3500±500 mPa·s at 180°C gives the adhesive more body than our carton sealing grades, helping the bead hold its shape as it is applied. The softening point is 105±10°C.
The translucent white color keeps beads discreet on white filter media. Granules feed directly into melt tanks and auto-feed systems.

Where It's Used
YD-7716 is an APAO grade applied as a continuous bead on air filter production lines, where it holds pleated media in shape and fixes the filter pack in place. It is supplied as milky white granules.
