YD-5100 is a white APAO (amorphous poly alpha olefin) hot melt adhesive in granule form. It is our premium grade for general-purpose carton sealing on standard 3-ply corrugated board.
APAO-based hot melts are a widely used alternative to EVA in case and carton sealing. YD-5100 is the grade to choose when you want a premium option for closing shipping cases on standard corrugated board.
A melt viscosity of 1000±300 mPa·s at 180°C and a softening point of 105±5°C suit bead application on automatic case sealers.
White granules pour easily into melt tanks and pneumatic auto-feed systems, cutting manual handling at the packing line. For EVA alternatives, see YD-5158 and YD-5313.

Where It's Used
YD-5100 is a premium APAO grade for general-purpose carton sealing on standard 3-ply corrugated board. It closes the top and bottom flaps of shipping cases on automatic case sealers and is supplied as white granules for melt tanks and auto-feed systems.
