About This Grade
YD-7712 is a white EVA hot melt adhesive in granule form, formulated for automatic blade-coating lines that bond air filter edges.
For blade coating
In automatic blade coating, a blade applicator spreads the adhesive along the edge of the filter pack or frame. YD-7712 is formulated for this method of air filter edge bonding.
Highest viscosity in our catalogue
At 6500±1000 mPa·s at 180°C, YD-7712 has the highest melt viscosity of any grade we list, suited to a coating that has to stay where the blade puts it. The softening point is 90±10°C.
EVA base, white granules
EVA is a widely used, cost-effective base for filter assembly, and white granules keep the finished edge clean in appearance.
