About This Grade
YD-8632 is a yellow hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA) in block form, formulated for die-cuttable label stock.
Made for label converting
Label stock is coated, laminated to a release liner and then die-cut around each label before the waste matrix is stripped away. YD-8632 is formulated for this die-cuttable construction, where the adhesive layer is cut as part of the stock.
Firmest grade in our HMPSA range
With a melt viscosity of 5200±1000 mPa·s at 180°C and a softening point of 95±5°C, YD-8632 has the highest viscosity and softening point of our HMPSA block grades.
Pressure sensitive finish
Once converted, the labels apply with light hand or machine pressure and need no activation. The adhesive ships as solid blocks for coating-line melters.

Label Stock That Die-Cuts Cleanly
YD-8632 is formulated for die-cuttable label stock: the adhesive layer behind the face material that is cut around each label before the waste matrix is stripped away. As a pressure sensitive grade, the finished labels apply with light hand or machine pressure.
