About This Grade
YD-5158 is a yellow EVA hot melt adhesive in granule form for general-purpose carton sealing on standard 3-ply corrugated board.
The everyday carton grade
For uncoated shipping cases on standard corrugated board, YD-5158 is our straightforward EVA choice. It seals the top and bottom flaps on automatic and semi-automatic case sealers.
Key values
Melt viscosity is 1000±300 mPa·s at 180°C and the softening point is 111±5°C. The adhesive is supplied as yellow granules for melt tanks and auto-feed systems.
When to choose a different grade
If your line runs at high speed or also bonds nonwoven handles, look at YD-5313. For film-laminated cartons, YD-5289 is formulated for the coated surface, and YD-5100 is our premium APAO option.
