YD-8311 is a transparent hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA) supplied in block form. It is formulated for general-purpose mattress facing lamination: bonding facing fabrics and quilted layers onto foam.
As a pressure sensitive grade, YD-8311 stays tacky after it is applied. Layers can be positioned and pressed together without racing the adhesive, which suits lamination stations where large panels are handled by hand or semi-automatically.
A melt viscosity of 1500±500 mPa·s at 180°C and a softening point of 85±5°C give your team a stable reference for tank and hose settings, and the adhesive flows readily for even coverage across wide facing materials.
YD-8311 ships as solid blocks, a practical format for bulk melters feeding lamination lines. If your line runs a different facing or foam, our lab can adjust tack and open time to match.

Where It's Used
YD-8311 laminates facing fabrics and quilting layers onto foam in general mattress production. As a pressure sensitive grade it stays tacky after application, which gives operators time to position each layer before the stack is pressed.
